Forensic photos of ED-X2 104mm
These were taken so that a remote buyer will see ahead of time "worst-case" dust and "imperfections" in the lens, even though they're not readily visible to the naked eye under the worst lighting conditions. No scratches, no blemishes.
New shots with a high-rez sensor (9000x6500), shot fairly slow (f11) for depth of field. Right-click to download for pixel peeping. Note that almost nothing is visible to the eye. It's only through the camera that the dust is visible (except for a couple of motes (one on the interior-most surface).

This was prior to cleaning the lens.
Camera lens is set to f/1.4 and overexposed two stops to make the dust visible.
