University City High School Astronomy Club

UCHS has an active Astronomy Club, sponsored by Mr. Scott Patterson, a bright, young, inspring AP Physics teacher. 

They have a H-alpha Solar Telescope, but do not yet have a "normal" nighttime scope.

Here is what we're trying to get for them with the Bentley 2018-2019 STEM Grant.

Below is a (bad) shot of the group checking out a couple of 10" dobsonian scopes (one shown) in early November. Note the scope is aimed at Jupiter, which is close to setting.
